Lead Virtual Power Trader

A prominent energy trading firm is searching for an experienced trader to develop and build out a Virtual trading platform. This hybrid role primarily focuses on Virtuals, but will get involved with FTRs in the smaller ISO markets. Professional requirements include strong market knowledge in a few ISOs with a preference for some experience in PJM or MISO, good programming skills, power flow analysis skills, and prior profitable experience with Virtual/FTR trading. The ideal candidate will take a quantitative approach to building the models and trading tools and will use both data mining and fundamental analysis techniques. Additionally, an educational background in power engineering, engineering or a quantitative discipline is strongly preferred.  Please submit resumes to This email address is being protected from spambots.
