A solar and battery storage developer is searching for an experienced Interconnection Queue Project Manager to lead the interconnection of utility-scale solar and battery storage projects in various US power markets.


Major responsibilities include:

  • Lead Transmission Interconnection Queue process for utility-scale, solar and battery storage projects through interconnection request, study analysis and interconnection negotiations,
  • Design internal processes to support Transmission Interconnection Queue with transmission planning, development, legal and commercial organizations to execute interconnection agreements and bring projects from the Queue to actualization,
  • SME regarding ISO Generation Interconnection procedures, Tariff and Manuals,
  • Participate as a stakeholder in transmission and market-related regulatory activities,
  • Monitor and coordinate interconnection study results, and
  • Review and negotiate interconnection agreements.


The position reports to the Senior Director – Transmission and Interconnection and can be remote (WFH).


Educational and professional requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 5-10 years’ experience in interconnection management for utility-scale power or renewable energy projects; strong knowledge of one of the following power markets PJM, MISO, SERC and/or TVA and familiarity with the regulatory environments in these markets; and strong communication skills.
